What is the TREC REALM Portal and what do I need to know about it?
TREC replaced its legacy MyLicense portal with the REALM Portal (aca-prod.accela.com/TREC) in December 2025. All applications, renewals, CE tracking, and license management now go through REALM. The rollout caused disruptions — CE completion records from approved providers were temporarily delayed in uploading, causing some December 2025 renewals to show incomplete CE. TREC responded by issuing a grace period and waiving the $200 CE deferral fee for December 2025 renewals. As of early 2026, the system is operational. Best practices for new applicants: create your REALM account before beginning the application, allow 1–2 extra weeks for processing compared to pre-REALM timelines, and confirm your CE provider has your correct license number for auto-reporting.
